Join the Public Works team at the City of Casselton.

You will have a varied role across water, street, sanitation, and sewer services. Regular heavy lifting is required. 

Examples of duties include but not limited to:

  • Reading and installing water meters

  • Cleaning sewer mains

  • Mowing

  • Working in recycling center

  • Sweeping and plowing city streets

  • Collecting garbage

  • Maintaining/servicing all equipment

Preference will be given to candidates with a Class B CDL, mechanically inclined, able to read and comprehend written instructions, and write the same legibly. Prior experience is desired, but not necessary, employer is willing to train.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $22.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Casselton, ND: Must live within 20 driving minutes of Casselton or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

  • CDL-B Driver's License (Preferred)
